Jet planes

In about 24 hours I will be in mid-air.

I will also likely be asleep as it has been a LONG weekend. Lots of rushing around organising things and getting presents for people...fun times.

And then it was Party in the Park today. SO HOT!!! Seriously, I think I am sunburnt - and I do not burn that easily. But was really, really fun. Great turn out and even better music.

I think I am pretty much packed. Just waiting for Isaac to show so can go to bed.

Next post will probably be from Singapore. I am taking my laptop - it is my baby. Hah.

YAY!!!

I have resigned from work. In fact, because of the way it has worked out...I have also had my last day of work as my leave counts as my notice time.

I'm still in shock a little. But it's just so awesome!! The Press have been really good about getting everything done quickly because we leave on Monday.

AND work is paying me out next weekend. Which means that I have the money for overseas! YAY! I'm so excited :)

Despite saying I wouldn't...I bought a new dress for the evening. Isn't it pretty???

My totally cool award!!

(Surprisingly) it was fun times. Just hung out with people, good food and I won $200 worth of vouchers. Which brings the grand total of vouchers that work has given me this month to $400!!! Crazy eh? I used one to buy my dress for the evening and I'm using the rest to get a new 80gb ipod - hopefully!

Also...only ONE MORE day of work and then I'm doneburger for the year!!!

Breakfast increases brain function

Every so often you feel incredibly witty, smart, charming and invincible.

That's how it was at the interview today.

Basically, I could take over the world right now.

Perhaps without realising it I have become somewhat socially functionable. Not that I wasn't already, but recently I have been feeling somewhat awkward in social situations. Possibly though no fault of my own.

I would also like to take this moment to point out that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. My brain is now not functioning without it.

Home again

This time with an earache. Fun, fun. Hopefully it's not another infection. Had one last year and it was NOT FUN.

Been very busy. What with the move and then a wedding on Sat and more moving on Sun and then straight into work. Work has been insane. It's like everyone is a little on edge because christmas is coming.

Almost like the end is nigh!!!

Almost...

Work do tomorrow, wedding on Saturday and then three services sunday. Am playing and was only asked today. Quite nervous as am extremely tired and the songs they have picked are HARD. Also, DT is being ordinated and hopefully will try to catch up with Nacho Nighters that evening.

Job interview tomorrow. Fingers crossed everything works out, would be nice to come back to a new position next year.

Could sleep forever!!!!

This is the story of a box

Once upon a time there was a box:

There was a girl who lived in the box. She was a shy girl and found making friends difficult. As a result, she was lonely:


One day she made a friend. Her friend was blonde, and very fun to be around. Without hesitation she asked her friend to move into the box with her:


They had fun together. Perhaps a little too much fun...

They partied too hard and soon there was a falling out due to lack of sleep and grumpiness...


And then the box was alone once again...

Moving

Well am back at the parentals place after almost two years of not living here. It's a little strange. I've only been here a night and half a day so far.

I'm incredibly bored.

If I was home I'd have half a dozen things to do like cleaning etc. But here it's just my own washing. And that's done.

I can't even unpack all my stuff, most of it is in storage as I'm NOT going through all the dramas of having to repack everything again at the end of January.

We had SO much crap. It was incredible!!!!

Admittedly this was the messier side of the house.

Anyway, it took just about the whole day to move all Jeremy's stuff and the majority of Tracy's and my stuff. Insane. Trace's new room is TINY as well. I have no clue how she's going to get everything in there!!!

Moving sucks.
